For the last two days 12th and 13th June 2023, KCSON together with other stakeholdes has been conducting monitoring of the FRECAR project aimed at assessing the progress but most importantly finding the key actions for improvement.
The monitoring was composed of KCSON staff, WWF UCO staff ( both Kagadi field office and National office-Kampala, WWF Denmark staff, Face the Future staff, NFA staff, political leadership and community members.
A number of sites including Nsugasugi Environmental Conservation Association (NECA) apiary site in Nsugasugi Kagadi Subcounty, coffee and tree farmers in Nyamarunda subcounty, VSLA groups in both Kagadi and Kibaale Districts, livestock beneficiaries, mushroom growing sites among others were visited.
