Inception meetings for the PHCU project held on 3rd and 4th December 2021 at both Kikuube and Kibaale local Governments respectively
The PHCU project was developed by Sudwid, Environmental alert and Kitara Civil Society Organisations Network that aims at supporting health canters in hard to reach areas and refugee settlements in Uganda that are faced with energy access limitation, which compromise effective delivery of health services to some of the hardest hit communities by COVID 19
Support shall be through installing small scale solar solutions that will provide reliable energy for lighting, running computers, conducting laboratory tests, immunisation among others. this will dramatically enable health facilities increase there operations thereby serving 75% more patients in the respective communities.
