Kitara Civil Society Organizations’ Network (KCSON) together with Kibaale District Local Government organized the World Environment Day in Kitutu village Karama Sub-county under the theme “Stop Plastic Pollution Today”. The ED KCSON cautioned Kitutu community members on irresponsible plastic dumping that’s causing soil pollution, and hence reduced soil productivity.
In attendance was the area Member of Parliament Dr. Emily Kugonza (guest of honor) who applauded KCSON and WWF for the work being done in conserving the Environment, Political and technical staff of Kibaale District Local Government, civil society organizations’ network among others.
